英语初级考试大纲:语法 1
1.同位语从句:同位语从句在句中作A同位语,对被修饰名词的内容予以解释说明。同位语的特点是:抽象名词在前,表达具体内容的从句在后。
常见的名词包括: assumption假定/belief看法/ conclusion结论/ doubt怀疑等。 例句:The suggestion that we should develop the natural resources in the region has been discussed. 关于我们应该开发本地区资源的建议已经讨论过了。
2.现在完成时:表示过去延续到现在的动作或状态。具体来说,这种用法是表示开始于过去的.动作一直持续到现在,而且还可能继续持续下去。谓语动词一般为延续性动词。
例句:An old woman walked out into the middle of the street. The policeman yelled to her, “Don’t you know what it means when I hold up my hand?” The lady said, “Sure I do. I have been a schoolteacher for 28 years now.” 一个老妇人走到了马路中央,这时,一位交警朝着她嚷道:“我都把手举起来了,你难道还不知道什么意思吗?”老太太说:“我当然知道,我都做了28 年的老师了。”
3. 时间状从:not…until… 用法。例句:The students didn’t stop talking until the teacher came in.
4. it做形式主语,句子做逻辑主语:如果主语太长,常用代词 it 作形式主语,将真正的主语从句置于句尾,以保持句式的平衡。
例句:It makes no difference what you read or study if you can’t remember it. 如果你记不住,那么你读什么或者学什么都不重要了。
5. 现在分词短语作状语:
(1)现在分词作时间状语。例句:There are several things to consider when buying fresh foods. 当购买新鲜食品时,有几个事情要考虑。
(2)现在分词作条件状语。例句:Working hard, you will succeed. 如果努力工作,你将会成功。
(3)现在分词作伴随状语。例句:All night long he lay awake, thinking of the problem. 他整夜躺在床上睡不着,思考着那个问题。
(4)现在分词作方式状语。例句:Please answer the question using another way. 请用另一种方法回答问题。
(5)现在分词作原因状语。例句:Not knowing her address, I can’t write to her.由于不知道她的地址,我没法给她写信。
(6)现在分词作结果状语。
例句:Possessing a car gives a much greater degree of mobility, enabling the driver to move around freely. 拥有汽车使机动程度更高,使司机能自由自在地往来各地。
(7)现在分词作让步状语。
例句:Although working from morning till night his father didn’t get enough food.虽然他父亲从早到晚拼命干,但是还是挣不够吃的。

1. 定义:用作表语的从句叫做表语从句。
2. 构成:关联词+简单句
3. 引导表语从句的关联词的种类:
(1) 从属连词that。
例如:The trouble is that I have lost his address. 麻烦是我把他的.地址丢了。
(2) 从属连词whether, as, as if。
例如:He looked just as he had looked ten years before. 他看起来还与十年前一样。
The question is whether they will be able to help us. 问题是他们是否能帮我们。
注:从属连词if一般不用来引导表语从句,但as if却可引导表语从句,
例如:All this was over twenty years ago, but its as if it was only yesterday. 这都是20多年前的事了,但宛如昨天一样。
能跟表语从句的谓语动词一般为系动词be, seem, look等。
例如: It looked as if it was going to rain. 看起来天要下雨了。
(3)连接代词:
Who whom whose what
Which whoever whatever whichever
连接副词:
Where when how why
例如:The problem is who we can get to replace her. 问题是我们能找到谁去替换她呢。
The question is how he did it. 问题是他是如何做此事的。
That was what she did this morning on reaching the attic. 那就是她今晨上了阁楼干的。
注:
1. 连词because可引导表语从句。
例如: I think it is because you are doing too much. 我想这是因为你做得太多。
2. 在一些表示“建议、劝说、命令”的名词后面的表语从句中,谓语动词用虚拟语气。should+动词原形表示,should可省略。
例如: My suggestion is that we (should) start early tomorrow. 我的建议是我们明天一早就出发。

英语中过去分词可作宾补,(此时的过去分词一般是及物动词)表被动意义或完成意义,有时两者兼而有之。做宾补的过去分词与宾语有逻辑上的动宾关系,即宾语是过去分词动作的对象。如:
She found the door broken in when she came back.(宾补与宾语有被动的关系,表一种状态。)
一、过去分词用在表状态的动词keep,leave等的`后面。
Eg:They kept the door locked for a long time.
Keep your mouth shut and your eyes open.(谚语:少说多看)
Dont leave such an important thing undone.
Dont leave the windows broken like this all the time.
二、过分词用在get,have,make,的后面。
1.注意“have +宾语+过去分词”的两种情况:
A)表"让某人做某事/让某事(被人)做"
eg: I have had my bike repaired.
The villagers had many trees planted just then.
B)表"遭遇到某种不幸,受到打击/受....影响,蒙受..... 损失"
Eg:I had my wallet stolen on a bus last month.
The old man had his leg broken in the accident.
He had his leg broken in the match yesterday.(MET1986)
2."make+宾语+过去分词",在这种结构中,过去分词的动词必须是表示结果含义的。如:
They managed to make themselves understood in very simple English.
I raised my voice to make myself heard.
三、过去分词用在感观动词watch,notice,see,hear,listen to ,feel,find等后面。如
When we got to school,we saw the door locked.
We can hear the windows beaten by the heavy rain drops.
He felt himself cheated.
The managers discussed the plan that they would like to see carried out the next year.(NMET2000)
四、过去分词用在want,wish,like ,expect等表示“希望,愿望”这一类动词后面做宾补。如
The boss wouldnt like the problem discussed at the moment.
I would like my house painted white.
I want the suit made to his own measure.
I wish the problem settled.
五、过去分词用在“with +宾语+宾补”这一结构中,过去分词与宾语之间是动宾关系。如:
The thief was brought in with his hands tied behind his back.
With many brightly-coloured flowers planted around the building ,his house looks like a beautiful garden.
With everything well arranged,he left the office.
六、过去分词、现在分词、和不定式作宾补的区别。
现在分词作宾补:宾语和补语之间是主谓关系。其动作与谓语动作同时进行。
过去分词作宾补:宾语和补语之间是动宾关系。其动作先于谓语动作。
不定式作宾补:表一个完成的动作、或表一个很短时间内看到、听到或感觉到的具体动作。
eg:He didnt notice me waiting.
I heard the song sung in English.
I saw him opening the window.
I saw the window opened.
I saw him open the window.
I heard her sing the song in English.

I.要点
表示说的话不是事实,或者是不可能发生的情况,而是一种愿望、建议或与事实相反的假设等。一般常用于正式的书面语中。
1、虚拟语气的构成
如:与现在事实相反
If I had more time, I should study German.(fact:I have no more time, so I shall not study German. )
If she were not so busy, she would attend the meeting this afternoon.(fact:she is very busy, so she will not attend the meeting this afternoon.)
If they didn’t take physical exercises every day, they wouldn’t be so healthy.(fact: they take physical exercises every day, so they are very healthy.)
与过去事实相反:
I would have checked my paper again if I had had more time at yesterday’s examination.(fact:I had no more time at yesterday’s exam, so I didn’t check my paper again)
You would have already recovered from his illness if he had seen the doctor in good time.(fact: He didn’t see the doctor in good time ,so he hasn’t recovered from his illness )
与将来事实相反:
If it rains tomorrow, our picnic will be put off.(The weather has been changeable these days.)
If it rained tomorrow, our picnic would be put off.( The weather has beenvery good these days.)
If it should rain tomorrow, our picnic would be put off.(That would be out of our expectation.)
If it were to rain tomorrow, our picnic would be put off. (条件从句谓语动词用were to +动词原形,表示下雨的可能性极小。Were to rain和should rain都表示“出乎意料之外”,但were to加强表示“当初没想到以后的事”)
注:
(1)如果条件从句谓语动词包含有were或had, should, could有时可将if省去,但要倒装。如:
Had you (If you had) invited us, we would have come to your party.
(2)混合时间条件句的用法:
有时条件从句的动作和主句动作发生的时间不一致。这时动词的形式,应根据它所要表达的.具体时间来决定用什么形式。
1) If she hadn’t trained so hard, she wouldn’t be run so fast.(从句叙述过去,主句叙述现在。)
(fact: she has trained very hard, so she would able to run fast.)
2)You would speak English well enough if you had practised reading and speaking it every day.(主句叙述现在,从句叙述过去)
(fact: You didn’t practice (hasn’t practiced ) reading and speaking it every day, so you can’t speak English well enough.)
(3)在其他状语从句中的用法
主要用于由as if (as though)引导的比较状语从句,从句中谓语动词一般用“动词的过去式(be变were )或had +过去分词。”如:
She looked as if she were ill.(实际上她没有病,在这里用虚拟语气补语比喻她精神不佳)
Xiao Liu speaks English so well as if he had studied in England.(这里用虚拟语气表现他的英语说得好)
2、虚拟语气在各种从句的应用
(1)在主语从句中用来表示惊奇、惋惜、理应如此等,其谓语形式是"should(可省) +动词原形",常用于以下三种句型中。
句型一:It is necessary (important, natural, strange, etc) that…
句型二:It is a pity (a shame, no wonder, etc) that…
句型三:It is suggested (requested, proposed, desired, etc) that…
如:It is strange that he (should) have done that.
It is a pity that he (should) be so careless.
It is requested that we (should) be so careless.
(2)在宾语从句中用于suggest, propose, move, insist, desire, demand, request, order, command等动词后的宾语从句中,表间接的命令和建议。其谓语形式是"(should)+动词原形"。如:
I suggest that we (should) go swimming.
(3)在表语从句中,表示间接的命令,要求、请求、建议、决定等,主句中的主语通常是suggestion, proposal, request, orders, idea等。从句谓语形式是"(should)+动词原形"。如:
His suggestion is that we (should) leave at once.
(4)在同位语从句中,谓语形式是"(should)+动词原形"。如:
We received order that the work be done at once.
(5)在It is time that…句型中,其谓语动词形式是"动词的过去式"或"should +动词原形",should不可省。如:
Its time (that) we went ( should go) to school.
