主动和好大学英语作文

　　So many of us hold on to little resentment that may have stemmed from an argument, a misunderstanding, or some other painful event. Stubbornly, we wait for the other side to compromise, and then we can forgive him and renew a friendship or family relationship.

　　As a matter of fact, each of us should take the initiative in compromise because when someone steps forward to make peace with another, both win. An amiable person is the happiest. If you want morepeace you must understand that being right is almost never more important than allowing yourself to be happy. The way to be happy is to let go, and make peace. Letting other people be right doesn＇t mean that you＇re wrong. You＇ll experience the peace of letting go as well as the joy of letting others be right. When you move a step backward, the other side usually no longer insists that they are absolutely right. Then eyeryone will enjoy peace and happiness.

　　So, let＇s take the initiative in reconciliation; let＇s be willing to let others be right; let＇s create a more loving world.
