顾城《眨眼》英译版

　　顾城的诗善用比喻，彩虹，时钟，红花都是美好的东西，可是眨眼之间却变成了蛇影，深井，血腥这样恐怖阴暗的`东西，不由让人感叹韶华易逝，从美好到恐怖阴暗的变化也只不过是眨眼之间。这么唯美的诗翻译成英文是什么样呢?

　　顾城

　　彩虹，

　　在喷泉中游动，

　　温柔地顾盼行人，

　　我一眨眼……

　　就变成了一团蛇影。

　　时钟，

　　在教堂里栖息，

　　沉静地嗑着时辰，

　　我一眨眼——

　　就变成了一口深井。

　　红花，

　　在银幕上绽开，

　　兴奋地迎接春风，

　　我一眨眼——

　　就变成了一片血腥。

　　为了坚信，

　　我双目圆睁。

　　带回现实的陆地。

　　In those aberrant years, there were some of my "aberrations".

　　I had firm beliefs,

　　I never blinked.

　　A rainbow,

　　Floating in the fountain,

　　Cast tender glances at the passers-by.

　　I blinked

　　And it became a coiled serpent.

　　A clocked,

　　Mounted on a church,

　　Quietly ticked away the hours.

　　I blinked—

　　And it became a deep well.

　　Red Flowers,

　　Blooming on the silver screen,

　　Danced excitedly to the spring wind.

　　I blinked

　　And they became a pool of blood.

　　To maintain my firm beliefs,

　　I keep my eyes wide open.
