六年级英语复习课教学探索与实践

摘要: 本文分析当前常态的小学英语复习课教学现状,通过教学实例提出复习课的教学活动要重设计,重学生语言能力的提升。

 目前,由于受考试指挥棒的影响,六年级英语复习课常态教学普遍存在以下三种情况。
1. 复习课沦落为练习课或考试课,老师忽视各单元E、F、G 部分的教学内容与教学功能,教材提供的极好的能力与兴趣培养的素材未得到深度开发,形同虚设。
2. 教师疏于复习课教学设计,美其名曰“培养学生能力”,教学活动或枯燥,或低效,对不同层次的学生没有具体的指导与帮助。
3. 复习课教学只重应试能力培养,重基本的词汇积累和语法操练,忽视学生语言知识的拓展和综合语言运用能力的提升。
 为了使六年级英语复习课常态教学超越常态,收获更大的教学效益,笔者有幸进行了U2 Ben’s Birthday Part E 的教学实践与探索。
一、源于课本,零存整取:
 复习课,顾名思义,必须复现本单元教学重点与难点,使学生在练习、运用过程中牢固掌握。在Warm up环节中,老师和孩子们轻松对话 What day is it today?  What date is it today? 学生们欣然应答Today is Friday. It’s the 25th of September. 老师自然衔接 Friday is the sixth day of a week, I like it very much, because on Saturdays and Sundays I don’t work, I can have a good rest at home.  September is the ninth month of a year, I also like it very much. Because Teachers’ Day is in September, it’s on the 10th of September. You know it is a big day, a special date for all the teachers. Do you know any other special dates?  三言两语,在看似不经意间老师复现了序数词的使用,同时呈现日期的英文表达,引导学生通过有意义的问答来复习本单元的教学重点:日期表达法。学生们畅所欲言 I know Children’s Day, it’s on the first of June….Halloween, New Year’s Day,Women’s Day 甚至有学生说出Christmas Day is on the twenty-fifth of December. Our National Day is on the first of October.在此环节中,开放的复习过程所生成的资源有效地渗透了后续学习内容,教师的课堂评价Wonderful!  A good job! 不仅肯定了发言学生的表现,更极大地鼓励了学生们进行课外学习。继而,老师适时切入 Yes, there are many different special dates in different months, and I like September best,  Why do I like this month best? Guess!  猜谜符合小学生的心理特征,几位学生猜毕,教师PPT呈现四个关键词: Teachers’ Day  Mid-autumn Day, birthday, National Day 教师用一般现在时态示范陈述Why does Miss Li like September best组织学生topic expression 。 这样,学生在各时段所学的语言表达如散落的珍珠被串联了起来,体现了语言教学的最终目标------综合语言运用能力的养成。
二、合理分解,化整为零:
 牛津小学英语E部分的教学在常态教学中或被老师以精读的方式细细讲解,或被老师以泛读的方式一带而过。对E部分出现的词汇及相关表达和故事内容的拿捏需要老师认真对待,教学环节的设计既要体现其复习功能也要对学生的语言运用能力有所提升。网络上的大量的课件在课堂教学中产生的效果是远非传统的教学方法所能比拟的,值得老师们收集整理、合理修改、积极使用。在新授Unit 2 E部分时,教师先将六幅图逐一以PPT呈现,新授之candle, blow out the candles, doorbell  和 take off  one’s costume  只在图边以拼读法呈现,教师以综合、灵活的课堂用语组织学生look and say, 如何充分利用学生间的能力差异展现出教师的`课堂教学艺术。单词障碍扫清后,师生根据PPT ask and answer:  What’s on the big birthday cake?  What do the canldes mean?  Look at Ben’s face carefully, does he know who Aladdin is?  Look at the children. How excited they are! Shall we sing the song “Happy birthday to you” to Ben together?在师生问答过程中,E部分内容在已从学生们口中讲述出来。接着,教师请学生进行Listen and match , 整体呈现E部分内容,最后打开书本,进行 Read and match, 并且集体朗读整个语言材料。在难点突破的基础上点面结合,始终体现词不离句,句不离篇的语言学习的基本法则。
三、听说读写,语篇提升:
 复习课上的听说读写教学活动得具有层次性,灵活性,趣味性,否则就会成为“鸡肋”。在组织学生学习E部分的过程中有两个语篇训练值得借鉴。在Warm-up结束时,教师和学生互相询问 When’s your birthday? What would you like as your birthday present? 继而进行 Listen and fill in the chart (an interview) When are their birthdays? 以语篇的形式深化单一的师生互动。
 Listen and write the children’s names in the chart.

教师不做指导,完成听力语篇后老师用如下语言和学生交流:Whose birthday is on March 17th?  Is Ann’s birthday on December 3 rd ? Are their birthdays on the same day? Is your birthday in this month,too? 这些问题有效扩展了学生相关的语言表达, 培养了学生的英语思维能力。核对听力内容后,教师PPT呈现三个问题,请学生进行Ask and answer; When’s Ann’s birthday?  Is her birthday on the twenty-second of October?  Whose birthday is on June 31st? 以有效巩固上述表达。  在完成E部分的教学后,教师PPT呈现Reading material, 进行读写语篇训练。文字材料的组织综合本单元的基本语言结构和教学难重点,诸多表达复现旧知渗透新知,体现学科育人精神 ------感恩,关爱亲人,问题的提出难易有层次性。  语篇如下:
Mum: It will be an important (重要)day tomorrow.
Ben:  Is it Mid-autumn day?
Mum: No, Ben. It’s September now.  This year, Mid-autumn Day is in October.
Kitty: Oh, I see. Is it Grandma’s birthday?
Mum: You’re right, Kitty.
Ben: That’s nice. Uncles, aunts and cousins will come to our house.
Kitty: Yes, we’ll have a big party for Grandma.
Mum: It will be Grandma’s 60th birthday.
Kitty: Great! Are you going to make something special for the party, Mum?
Mum: Yes, I’d like to make a nice big cake with lots of fruit .
Ben: Super! And we can play with our cousins at the party.
Mum: Now, we must get enough (足够)food, drinks ,candles and fruit for the party. Let’s make a shopping list(购物单) first. I’ll go to the supermarket this afternoon. Are you going with me?
Ben: Of course, Mum. I’d like to buy a pair of sunglasses for Grandma. What about you, Kitty?
Kitty: I’m not sure, and I’ll go to the supermarket and see.
Mum: Don’t worry, dear. Think about Grandma’s hobbies, then you will have an idea.
Kitty: Thanks, Mum. I’d like to give Grandma some nice stamps as her birthday present!
(      ) 1. Tomorrow is Ben’s Grandfather’s birthday. 
(      ) 2. They will have a big party at a restaurant(饭店).
(      ) 3. Mum would like to make a big birthday.
(      ) 4. Their relatives(亲戚) will visit them tomorrow.
(      ) 5. Ben and Kitty are going to the supermarket with Mum.

 优质高效的课堂教学是每一位教师的追求,先进的教育理念和精心的教学设计不应仅是教学作秀。尤其在六年级的复习课课堂教学中,教师要立足优质高效的常态课,以开放的、人文的课堂向学生展现语言学习的魅力,为学生的语言发展服务!
