In conclusion, I think it is a far better idea to buy a house rather than a business. In todays society, however, I believe that there are three important characteristics that indicate whether a person is a good parent or not.
The first of these traits is the capacity for love. Children must feel loved by their parents if they are going to grow into well-developed, stable adults. Children who grow up in a house filled with love are relaxed and peaceful, and do not cause trouble. These children demonstrate good social skills, and are usually well-liked by others. In contrast, it has been shown that children who grow up in unloving families are anxious and mean-spirited.
Trust is also very important for a childs development. If a parent is always prying into a childs privacy, the child will think he/she is doing something wrong to deserve such mistrust. This leads to the child hiding things from the parent, which therefore leads to dishonesty. Also, trust leads to independence. When children are trusted, they feel more pressure to keep that trust, and therefore act honestly. They will make wise decisions, which will allow them to grow into independent adults.
It is also of utmost importance for a parent to have a well-developed sense of responsibility. A parent must be able to be present for the child twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. The parent must organize everything for a child, especially one under the age of ten. This requires careful planning and multi-tasking. If a person is ready to become a parent, they must be ready for all of these added responsibilities.
In conclusion, a good parent has a large capacity for love, is trusting, and must be very responsible. Without these key attributes, the child will suffer and grow into a dysfunctional adult. One must take the job of parenting very seriously to ensure the childs healthy development. By harnessing the above-mentioned qualities, parents will ensure that their child will be the best they can be.

For instance, Chinese government spared no effort in this regard since education from kindergarten to twelfth grade is fully subsidized and such educational experience is accessible to children from both rural and urban areas. Besides, institutions of higher learning and various research centers receive state fund, and the figure is so phenomenal that it is not exaggerated to claim that it is in billions of U.S. dollars. Such foundations can be for multiple purpose, like purchasing advanced science equipment, attracting bring young researchers and scientists, funding cutting-edge research to improve people’s livelihood, directly and indirectly. All of these institutions and universities are in a better position to provide education resources to people.

Participating in such activities gives us a chance to challenge our courage, our patience and our perseverance, which are all crucial qualities we can benefit from a lot later in our life. One need look no further than extreme sports players as examples. Compared to the professionals, they do it to challenge themselves. It is undeniable that these man with extraordinary courage have pushed the human limits to a new level which we can hardly imagine without them. So challenging and dangerous is this kind of sports that anyone who takes part in is a hero, from whatever perspective. It is these experience that make the players outstanding leaders who can undergo adversities in life more bravely instead of retreating shamefully.
However, a coin has two sides. Beneficial andnecessary as the unenjoyable things may be, its significance should not be exaggerated for it is not without its problems. One of the drawbacks concerns how much of such unenjoyable thing one could stand. As it varies from person to person, there will never be a standard for this. We should carefully control it not to let it disturb our daily life too much to destroy our hope and happiness. In such occasions, unfavorable activities may even be counterproductive.
I sum, according to the forgoing discussion, it is safe to draw a conclusion that taking part in activities we do not enjoy is a necessity in our lives. However, considerable though the

Second, sports and entertaining stars provide us with good entertainment. On weekends, many of us attend a football match that includes Beckham, see a movie that stars Julia Roberts, or go to a concert that features Celine Dion. These people help us make good use of our free time by entertaining us. As a result, we feel inspired as well as relaxed. In other words, we feel energetic again after attending the events. We even feel that we have more to enjoy in life and have new aspirations. For such reasons, these people are worth their high salaries.
Third, athletes and entertainers win honors for their countries. For example, after four years’ hard work, many athletes win gold medals at the Olympics Games. They are able to make millions of dollars a year after the games. Such high salaries are justified, because these athletes have won honors for their countries in the most competitive arena and have made their people proud, something few people can even dream of. This is true for entertainers as well. Many actors and actresses receive high salaries after they have won Oscars or prizes at Cannes Films Festival. Those people also deserve high salaries, because they have made a name in films for their country and have made their country better known by people elsewhere in the world.
All in all, famous athletes and entertainers merit their high salaries, for their hard work, entertainment they provide, and their contribution to their country. If I had a chance, I would be a famous star who can make millions of dollars a year.

According to the media, U.S Time recently named top ten differences in families. It was not
startling find the choice--the wider generation gap between parents and children--ranked No.2 in the list. We know that the generation gap does exist in different generations because of the
different backgrounds they grow in. However, does this gap grow in large widthSome believe that parents today understand their children as they did in the past, while others stand in the opposite. Personally, I intent to embrace the idea that parents do not understand children well compared to the parents in the past.
For those who hold the idea that parents understand children well, their concerns are not without the ground. Love always does exist in families. More specifically, parents devote their whole lives to breeding their children, and it is the love urges parents to cultivate children and try to
understand them better. In China, the most important part in Chinese virtue is the harmony in
families, which grows out of the understanding between family members. Educated by traditional cultivation, parents try to always understand children. Obviously, following the Chinese virtue contributes the parents to understand children, no matter how the period changes.
Despite the fact that such argument is indeed persuasive, I still believe parents do not understand children the same as the parents in the past. For one thing, the time of modern children in
accompanying parents is less than the time in the past. Children spend so much time in school and social activities that they have less time to communicate with parents. For instance, according the Beijing Academic center, the average time a child spends with his parents is less than two hours a day. Such incredible time makes the communication between children and parents less, enlarging generation gap between parents and their own children. Apparently, the less the time for
communication the less understanding would stay between people, and it is one of the reasons why parents understand children less.
For another, advanced technology enlarges the gap too. Communicational approaches between parents and children are limited by the improvement of high-tech equipment, which is used by young people but rarely exerted by the old. An APP called WeChat serves as the most significant and novel approach in communication between young people, while parents, the old people, are accustomed to applying calling and sending messages in traditional ways. Therefore, this
difference in habit limits the communication between parents and children, which decreases the opportunities for parents to keep in touch with children and inhibits parents to understand them. To sum up, even if parents motivation in understanding children is shaped by the their forever love for their offspring, I still believe they understand children less than ones in the past,
considering the less time family members staying together and the development in technology that enlarges the gap.

From my everyday experience and observation I can state several factors which defend the statement that reading and writing now is more important than ever before.
First of all， it is essential for a person to have at least basic knowledge of reading and writing to survive in our society. While in the past， some people could live in wilderness or even in cities without any knowledge of written language， now it is almost impossible. The way of living has change so much that it is impossible to be a part of nation， especially in developed countries， without ability to read and write your bills， to understand your mortgage documents or job applications. Moreover， you can go nowhere by yourself but in your own small town without reading the maps and signs on the roads and in cities.
Second， nowadays， most of jobs require reading and writing as necessary skills and tendency that these skills will be more and more important for future jobs increases. In fact， because of sharp development of technology， more of jobs on the labor market are for literate people and less of them are for people without any or slight reading or writing knowledge. For example， there are not needed so much people who can work on lands or select parts in auto-factories because the machines do that kinds of jobs now. On the other hand， factories and corporations need people who can read the instructions and control the machines. It is bare true that without jobs that need only physical abilities， illiterate people are forced to be constantly on unemployment lists.
In conclusion， the most scare part of living illiterate in our society is maybe living dependable of someone. A illiterate person will have difficulties not only to do simple tasks such as writing bills， withdrawing money from cash machines， or reading menu in a restaurant， but also to be a productive and useful individual of our society with job and normal life.

In conclusion, I prefer to travel with friends rather than travel alone not only because the trip will be easier with friends, but also because more help and fun will be got from friends.

He’s just being human. Then is it wrong to harass ladies? Yes. But all humans make mistakes. Celebrities are experts in certain areas but not all. In some other fields, they should even learn from us.
Generally, there are two extremes when talking about celebrities: the public are either too critical or too superstitious. Objectively, both of the attitudes are unnecessary. As a Chinese saying which generalizes this situation the best goes: to take in the good, while to get rid of the bad.

When we see photographs of starving children, it’s hard to say that we should spend billions of dollars on space exploration. But that’s just what we should do. Children don’t need to be starving, but we do need to explore space. Right now, we have enough money to feed every person on Earth. Children are starving because of mismanagement of resources and simple human greed. Those are problems we can solve right here on earth. That shouldn’t stop our need to find out what’s beyond our own solar system.
We may never make contact with whatever other species there may be out there in space. Even so, there are still two very practical and positive consequences of space exploration. One is a certainty and the other is a possibility. The certainty is medical research. Yes, we can conduct research here on earth. But much of the research done in space, for example, on the effects of gravity on bone marrow, is making a difference in medicine here on Earth. When we do research in space, we also learn more about space exploration. Also, many of the inventions that were developed for space travel have been adapted to good use on Earth.
The possible consequence of space exploration is finding another planet human beings can colonize. Overpopulation is a huge problem on our planet. People are living longer, more healthful lives, and that’s a good thing. But it means there are fewer people dying and more people being born. Eventually we’ll have less space, fewer resources, and major distribution problems. If we can find another planet to live on, we can relieve the problems of overpopulation on our planet.
It’s a tragedy that there are human beings suffering on Earth. However, if we wait until everyone has a perfect life, we will never explore space—and that , too, would be a kind of tragedy.

One of the worst things that the police really want to get their hands on is Child Pornography. It is not so hard to keep track of when people had to go out and hand deliver this stuff, but through the Internet the scum who partake in this don’t have to leave their homes.
A big problem is the fact that underage kids can see what they are not meant to. This does not just end up back at porn though; there are images of extreme violence on humans and animals.
