Differences between Black English and Standard English
Abstract
English has become a global language. There are many varieties of English in the world. People in different areas speak different varieties of English. Black English, which was formed in the 17th century during the slave trade period, is also a variety of English. Many linguists and scholars became highly interested in Black English in the 20th century. This thesis，based on the existing research result, will discuss the differences between Black English and Standard English, including the definition, development of Black English and the differences in phonology, vocabulary and syntax between Black English and Standard English, two main varieties of English in the United States.

摘 要
英语是1种使用最广泛的世界语言，有很多变体。不同地区的人讲不同的英语变体。形成于17世纪奴隶贸易时期的黑人英语就是英语变体中的1种。很多语言学家、学者对黑人产生了浓厚的兴趣，从20世纪开始陆续有大量关于黑人英语的研究。本文在已有的研究成果基础上，将就黑人英语与标准英语这两种变体之间的差异展开讨论，对黑人英语的定义和发展，以及黑人英语与标准英语在语音、词汇和句法上的差异作详细分析。
