1948: the World Health Organization decided to celebrate 7th April of each year, with effect from 1950, as the World Health Day.The World Health Day is celebrated to create “awareness of a specific health theme to highlight a priority area of concern for the World Health Organization (WHO). World Health Day 2006 focuses on Working together for health.
1948年，世界卫生组织确定每年4月7日为世界卫生日，从1950年开始生效。确立世界卫生日的目的是让世界卫生组织重点观注某一健康领域的问题。今年的主题是关注医护人力资源。
