the beijing olympic games are coming. my classmates and i are very excited. we have been talking about it every day and hope the chinese athletes will win a lot of gold medals. it would be a dream come true to be able to go to beijing for the olympics.
liu xiang is my favorite athlete. he is from my hometown shanghai. i am so proud of him. let me tell you a little secret. last month i wrote to liu xiang. i hope he received my letter, and knows that i am wishing him all my luck to be the first crossing the finish line.
i always ask myself. what can i do for the beijing olympic games? i am still a little girl, but i love sports so much. i may not be an athlete when i grow up. but i can learn something from the olympic athletes. if you want to win, you have to work very hard. like liu xiang, i will work very hard to make my dreams come true. i want my mother, my classmates and my teachers to be proud of me some day.
