　　Presently, a new lifestyle called low carbon life is spreading every corner of our country. The concepts of low carbon are low energy and no waste. It is such a significant project that I can’t wait to present my ideas on how to promote it.

　　On the first place, a no-car day is supposed to set up every week in our school. Because cars not only cause serious air pollution but also waste energy.

　　On no-car day, neither students nor teachers are allowed to drive to school.

　　Meanwhile, just walk, jump, cycle or run. Use our legs and enjoy the fun.

　　On the second place, we had best not use plastic bags any more. No one can stand the “white pollution”. So, it is wise to use bags which can be reused again and again.

　　Finally, one thing that we should keep in mind: every big thing comes fromthe subtle. Therefore, as students, we ought to turn out the lights the moment we leave, turn off the tap in time, and reuse our textbook and so on.

　　All in all, it weighs greatly for all of us to put the low carbon lifestyle into practice. Just set our mind to these: no-car day, no plastic bags, and no waste. Let’s do it now.

　　Low-carbon life is good for everyone. To help with the environment, I always walk or ride a bike to school instead of taking a car. Besides, I will try to use things that can be recycled and I never forget to turn off the lights when I leave the classroom. I think it’s my duty to live a low-carbon life. And even the simplest activities can make a real difference to the environment. So I suggest we should reuse books as long as possible. And we’d better not spendmuch money on expensive clothes. If everyone does something for the environment,I believe the earth will be a better place.

　　In this day and age, environmental degradation presents great danger to the public. People in my country, and other places, have to bear polluted water and haze day after day. As public awareness of the need for environmental protection grows in these countries, it is urgent to learn how to establish a green life style.

　　To achieve a green life style, we must adjust our behavior. This can be done even with simple things. For example, we could sort out our trash for better recycling. At home, we can use lights and other electricity only when needed. We should properly maintain air conditioners twice a year so they will run efficiently, and, even more importantly, make sure doors and windows fit properly and are sealed so that we can use less energy in heating and cooling.

　　Other simple steps that make a big difference include using public transportation instead of driving private cars. Commuters can choose to take buses, subways or share cars with others, which not only relieves traffic jams

　　but also reduces gas emission.

　　In my mind, it is high time to establish a general concept of sustainable development and green life style in China. The Earth has provided humans what they need; it is time to pay back. Only through a green life, can we ensure that we and our children live in an environment with green water and mountains,without traffic jams, and in an era with better living habits.

　　Todays society is a highly developed technological society. However, theshortcomings in the development process are obvious, such as: carbon dioxide,and environmental pollution. But the most serious should be the carbon dioxide problem. Now the problem of global warming because of excess emissions of greenhouse gases. Excessive amount of carbon dioxide emissions, creating a diversified economy and La Nina phenomena lag disorder. Two levels of glaciers melting, polar animals lose their chance of survival at the same time, will lead to rising sea levels, many coastal cities into the water did not result in a few years later. Therefore, we must take the necessary measures to reduce the environmental impact of carbon dioxide.

　　For example: tree-planting activities, reduce fossil fuel use, we can fromour own, to promote low-carbon living.

　　Nowadays,with more and more serious problems such as the increasing global temperture,the melting ice and the rising sea-levering,people are recognizing the important of developing the low-carbon economic now.

　　In my opnion, the most important thing to reach the low-carbon economic is everyone must try their best do what they can do for it.Once everyone have the sence of low-carbon economic and have the action by themselves ,it will be earlier to reach it.
