Colgate- Palmolive entered China in 1992. Last year, we have celebrated Colgates 20 years anniversary in China.
Today, we have commercial offices and manufacturing sites in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu, Yangzhou and Hong Kong with more than 5,000 employees. Our Huangpu Plant based in Guangzhou and Sanxiao Plant in Yangzhou has become the largest strategic toothpaste plant and toothbrush plant in Colgate globally. In addition, we have part of the Global Technology Center, Global Procurement and Asia Division Colgate Innovation Center.

After the earthquake in Qinghai in 2010, Colgate donated another RMB 1 million to build 14 Colgate dental clinics and purchase 381 series of oral care facilities. In 2011, the launching ceremony of oral health cooperation project between the Ministry of Health (MOH) and Colgate was successfully held in Qinghai Province.
In the meantime, the "Promoting Oral Health and Oral Care Development in the West" Qinghai program was co-launched with the MOH-Colgate project. Under the "West Trip Program", a series of activities for children and capacity building for local doctors will benefit 5.6 million people in Qinghai Province and contribute to the improvement of oral health level in the Western China.
