And I asked myself, why? I felt shy, I felt embarrassed. And then my question became, am I the only one who does this? So, I decided to investigate.

I'm fortunate enough to work in the rehab facility, so I get to see people who are facing life and death with addiction. And sometimes it comes down to something as simple as, their core wound is their father died without ever saying he's proud of them. But then, they hear from all the family and friends that the father told everybody else that he was proud of him, but he never told the son. It's because he didn't know that his son needed to hear it.

I know a woman who's good at this. She, once a week, meets with her husband and says, "I'd really like you to thank me for all these things I did in the house and with the kids." And he goes, "Oh, this is great, this is great." And praise really does have to be genuine, but she takes responsibility for that. And a friend of mine, April, who I've had since kindergarten, she thanks her children for doing their chores. And she said, "Why wouldn't I thank it, even though they're supposed to do it?"

Go home to your husband -- what does he need? Go home and ask those questions, and then help the people around you.

Ford said, “Produce it anyway.”
“But,” they replied, “It’s impossible!”

At the end of the year ford checked with his engineers, and again they informed him they had found no way to carry out his orders.
“go right head,” said ford, “I want it, and I’ll have it.”
They went ahead, and then, as if by a stroke of magic, the secret was discovered.
The ford determination had won once more!
This story may not be described with minute accuracy, but the sum and substance of it is correct. Deduce from it, you who wish to think and grow rich, the secret of the ford millions, if you can. You’ll not have to look very far.
Henry ford was successful, because he understood and applied the principles of success. One of these is desire: knowing out the lines in which the secret of his stupendous achievement have been described. 尊敬的各位领导、老师们、同学们：
上午好！我是今年新进教师，柴xx，来自高一化学组。非常荣幸，在开学典礼的今天，作为新教师代表在这里发言。
首先，请允许我代表新老师向给我们提供实现人生抱负机会的校领导表示衷心的感谢。
能够成为一名教师，我们是幸福的；能够成为二中的教师，我们更是深感自豪。从我们踏上三尺讲台的那一刻起，我们就肩负了教书育人的圣神职责。我们深感责任重大，我们必须努力进取。在此，请允许我代表全体新教师郑重承诺，在今后的工作中努力做到以下四点：
一、做一名合格的教师
我们将以老教师为榜样，虚心请教、刻苦专研、努力探索本学科的教学方法，做到因材施教，争取在最短的时间内让自己的教学步入正轨。
二、做一名品德高尚的教师
古人云：“学高为师，身正为范”。一名优秀的教师不仅要有广博的知识，更要有高尚的道德情怀。我们要以自己的`人格去塑造学生的人格，用自己的道德情感去唤醒学生的道德情感。“言传不如身教”我们将铭记于心。
三、做一名有责任感的教师
“师者，所以传道授业解惑也”。我们需要有高度的责任感，严谨务实的工作作风，精心备课、细心讲解、耐心答疑，以平等的心态、欣赏的目光、发展的眼光去对待每一位学生，成为学生学习上、生活中的好朋友。
四、做一名真正的凤冈二中人
凤冈二中的发展需要我们一代又一代人坚持不懈的努力。我们将继承和发扬二中的优良传统，在校领导的带领下，努力奋斗，对学校的发展做出应有的贡献。在这个舞台上实现自己的人生价值。
作为一名老师我想对同学们说：没有永远的最后，只有暂时的落后，每天进步一点点，坚持，就会成功。无论昨天的你怎样都已经过去。
新学期，新起点，新的希望，新的征程。我相信经历过磨练的我们会更加的成熟与自信！就让我们期待明天更为丰硕的成果吧！在更为激励的竞争中乘风破浪，尽展二中风采。在我们全体师生的努力下二中的明天会更加辉煌！
