　　注册商标的.五个步骤：

　　There are five steps for trademark registration:

　　第一步 向中国商标局提交申请

　　Step One Filling application with CTMO

　　在中国有注册下属机构的申请人可以直接申请商标。但如果外国企业在中国没有成立实体，则需要通过指定商标代理机构进行商标注册。申请人可以委任合资格的律所处理申请事宜。

　　Applicants that have subsidiaries registered in China may apply for trademark directly. Yet a foreign company that has not established a physical presence in China must register its markthrough a State-designated trademark agent. Applicants may appoint a qualified law firm to handle the applications.

　　第二步 中国商标局初步审查

　　Step Two Preliminary examination by CTMO

　　中国商标局将审查商标注册材料，确认是否完备并符合所有要求。

　　CTMO will review the trademark application materials to ensure its completeness and compliance with all requirements.

　　第三步 中国商标局实质审查及异议期

　　Step Three Substantive examination by CTMO and Opposition period

　　中国商标局将进行实质审查以确定申请材料完备，以及没有其他近似或相同商标曾经被注册。

　　CTMO will conduct a substantive review to decide whether the application packet is complete and no other similar or identical trademark has been previously registered.

　　第四步 中国商标局公告及异议期

　　Step Four Publication by CTMO and Opposition Period

　　商标申请如经批准，将被予以公告，在三个月内接受公众异议。商标申请如被驳回，中国商标局应当书面通知申请人，申请人可在收到通知之日起15天内申请行政复审。

　　If approved, the trademark application will be published and subject to public opposition for a period of three months. If rejected, CTMO shall notify the applicant in writing, and the applicant may request for an administrative review within 15 days of receipt.

　　第五步 批准及公告

　　Step Five Approval and announcement

　　如果异议期内没有人提起异议，中国商标局将准予商标注册并予以公告。

　　If no party files an opposition during the opposition period, CTMO will register the trademark and publish notice of the registration.

　　中国商标局通常收取600元人民币作为商标注册申请费。

　　CTMO will usually charge RMB600 as Trademark Registration Application Fee.
