Entry Level Dental Assistant Resume

Dental assistant is responsible for playing an important part in the oral health profession. Most of dentists are now looking for dental assistants and skilled dental assistant are in high demand now. Dental assistant can work for Oral Surgeons, Dentists and Orthodontists and they want trained and licensed professionals. Dental assistant is responsible for performing variety of duties of patient care, laboratory duties, office duties and help dentist when they are examining or treating patients. He or she make patient comfortable in the dental chair and prepare them for treatment.

Some entry level dental assistant takes X-ray films, dental X-rays directed by dentist and prepares materials for restoration and impressions. They also sterilize the equipments and instruments for dental procedures. Dental assistant does important duty of scheduling and conforming appointments. They also send bills, receive payments, keep record of treatment and order the dental material and supplies. They are responsible for various other duties as assigned.
