英语面试常见问题：兴趣爱好

　　通过个性和爱好的问答，主考官可以初步判断面试者的性格特点是否适合职位的需要。性格外向的人往往容易给人留下热情活泼、思维敏捷但不深沉的印象，这类性格的人在面试时说话的节奏要适当放慢，语言组织得当，要注意给人以博学多才、见多识广的良好形象。性格内向的人则容易给人留下深沉有余、反应迟缓的印象，在面试时，这类性格的人要力争积极回答，并就某一重大观点展开论述，以弥补自己性格上的不足。兴趣爱好有助于工作的胜任愉快，而且热爱本职，从事的专业岗位与自己的兴趣爱好相吻合也更有利于出成果。

　　A: Generally speaking，l am an open-minded person.

　　A: Cheerfulness and friendliness.

　　I: How would your friends or colleagues describe you?

　　A: They say Mr. Sun is a friendly, sensitive, caring and determined person.

　　I: What personality do you admire?

　　A: I admire a person who is honest, flexible and easy-going.

　　I: How do you get along with others?

　　A: I get on well with others.

　　I:What is the most important thing for you to be happy?

　　A:Different people have different ideas. I think the most important thing for me is having a good relationship with my family members and my friends. My family has always been very closeknit, and my friend sand I spend a lot of time together. Without that I would be much less happy than I am.

　　I: What kind of person do you think you are?

　　A: Well, I am always energetic and enthusiastic. That?s my strongest personality.

　　I: What are your strengths and weaknesses?

　　A: Em, as I have said, I?m diligent and industrious. On the other hand, sometimes I?m too hard-working and I put myself under too much pressure to make things perfect.

　　I: What qualities would you expect of persons working as a team?

　　A: To work in a team, in my opinion, two characteristics are necessary for a person. That is, the person must be cooperative and aggressive.

　　I:What makes you angry?

　　A:Dishonesty. It's unacceptable.

　　I:What are your personal weaknesses?

　　A:I'm afraid I'm a poor talker. I'm not comfortable talking with the people whom I have just met for the first time. That is not very good for business, so I have been studying public speaking.

　　I:Are you more of a leader or a follower?

　　A:I don't try to lead people. I'd rather cooperate with everybody, and get the job done by working together.

　　I: How do you spend your leisure time?

　　A: I like playing games and having sports. They are my favourite hobbies.

　　I: So,what kind of sport do you like most?

　　A: Oh, it?s hard to narrow it down to just one. I mean, I like all kinds of sports, basketball, swimming, bike riding and so on. Maybe it is just the reason why I am so energetic and vigorous.

　　A: 我不会尝试领导别人。我宁愿和每个人都是合作关系，大家一起把工作做好。

　　A: 我爱玩游戏和体育运动，这是我最大的爱好。

　　A: 哦，那可实在太多了，我喜欢各类体育运动，打篮球、游泳、骑车之类的。也许这是我精力如此充沛的原因吧。

　　A：Do you have any hobbies? What is it or what are they?

　　B：I am interested in watching TV or other relaxing games.

　　A：How do you spend your spare time?

　　B：I usually read or do some sports.

　　A：What kind of book are you interested in?

　　B：My favorite books are those about detectives.

　　A：Well, those books are really good. I like them too. Do you think you are introverted or extroverted?

　　B：In fact, I wouldn't call myself extroverted. Sometime I enjoy being by myself very much. But other times, I like sharing activities with others too, especially during these last few years.

　　A：What kind of sports do you like?

　　B：I like almost all sports, and I enjoy both playing and watching. I especially like tennis and mountain climbing.

　　A：What kind of personality do you think you have?

　　B：Well, I approach things very enthusiastically, I think, and I don't like to leave anything half-done. It makes me nervous- I can't concentrate on anything else until the first thing is finished.

　　A：你有什么业余爱好吗?是什么爱好?

　　B：我喜欢看电视和一些休闲活动。
