英语面试禁忌

　一个避重就轻的标准答案是：

英语面试禁忌

　　My last job/company is not bad. The salary and welfares are satisfying. Actually, I was reluctant to quit, but I believe I could have better career opportunities in your company.(我以前的公司不错，工资待遇都挺好的，我真不想辞职，但我认为在贵公司可能有更好的发展空间。)

　　其他推荐答案如下：

　　I found myself bored with the work and looking for more changes and opportunities. (我发现自己厌倦了那份工作，希望寻求更多变化和机遇。)

　　There isn’t enough room for growth with my previous employer and I’m ready to move on to a new challenge. (我之前的.公司没有太大发展空间，我也确实想迎接一份新的挑战。)

　　I’ve decided that is not the direction I want to go in my career and my current employer has few opportunities in the direction I’d like to head. (我确定那不是我期望的职业发展路径，而现在的雇主在我心仪的职业发展方向的机会很少。)

　　以上答案看似无懈可击，但没有太多实质性内容，并不总是面试官想听的答案。有时候，实话实说也未必是一件坏事，例如：

　　I was laid-off from my last position when our department was eliminated due to corporate restructuring. (由于公司结构调整，我所在的部门被砍掉，因此我也被裁员了。)

　　I’m relocating to this area due to family circumstances and left my previous position in order to make the move. (我刚居家搬到此地，因此离开了之前的公司。)

　　Since my company moved to the other side of the city, I had to spend more than four hours each day on travel. This is not what I want. I would prefer to be closer to home. (因为公司搬到城市另一边了，我必须每天花费超过四个小时在上下班路上，这是我所不希望的。我想在离家近点的地方工作。)

　　绝对不可接受的答案如下：

　　I hate that job. (我讨厌那份工作。)

　　They didn’t pay me enough. (他们付我的薪水太低了。)

　　The working hours were awful. I can’t bear working overtime every day. (工作时间长得吓人。我不能忍受每天加班的日子。)

　　关于这道面试必答题，其实没有标准答案。但切勿触碰以上禁忌——不要抱怨前雇主，不要批评前老板，那不是你的新雇主期待的理想答案。换个角度思考一下，如果你是他，你希望听到什么样的答案呢？
