　　学校介绍

　　英国白金汉大学(The University of Buckingham)是全英唯一一所私立(独立大学)，2016TIMES排名第38位，1976年以白金汉大学学院的名字创立。1980年获得英国女王的特许妆后正式升格为大学。现任名誉校长为英国前首相，大学有权颁授学位，其学历国际认可，与中国教育部实现中英学历互认。学校包含两个校区：VERNEYPARK(LAW，PSYCHOLOGYAND APPLIED AND COMPUTING)以及HUNTER STREET CAMPUS(商学院及人文学院)。

　　特色介绍

　　学校设有两年本科学制设置，分为三个入学时段– 1月/7月/9月。学校通过重新整合假期，为学生达到缩短学制的效果。假期安排如下：

　　Spring: 2周

　　Summer: 3周

　　Autumn: 2周

　　Winter: 5周

　　不仅如此，白金汉大学还推出了免Foundation课程的课程设置，也就是说国内3年高中毕业生，可直接申请Buckingham大一课程(不用上Foundation，解释权归大学所有)。

　　关于IELTS，大体上来说要求为Foundation要求IELTS最少5.0;Undergraduate要求IELTS最少6.5;Postgraduate要求IELTS最少6.5。

　　地理位置

　　白金汉大学坐落于英国英格兰东南部白金汉郡白金汉，距离牛津很近(12英里)，距离伦敦58英里，离伦敦大约2小时车程，驱车由这里前往伦敦希思罗国际机场仅需一小时。
